Art Teacher

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive 11–16 comprehensive school located near Basingstoke town centre. The school has a strong commitment to the arts and offers excellent facilities to support both students and staff in delivering a high-quality creative curriculum.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and challenge young people through a dynamic Art curriculum that encourages self-expression, technical development, and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that foster creativity and skill-building

*

Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials

*

Support extracurricular opportunities including exhibitions and art clubs

*

Work closely with colleagues to promote the arts across the wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

*

A qualified Art teacher (QTS/QTLS)

*

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education

*

Experience teaching GCSE Art and/or related disciplines

*

A collaborative, reflective practitioner committed to high standards

*

Suitable for both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs)
