About us
A proudly family run company, established in 1997, and now recognised as one of the longest standing providers of residential care in the UK. With nearly three decades of experience, we have built a strong reputation for delivering outstanding, individualised care.
Our vision was and still is, to change the landscape of residential childcare. We were pioneers in creating single-occupancy homes, placing each young person’s unique needs at the heart of everything we do. Twenty-eight years on, we continue to lead with the same unwavering commitment to personalised, high quality care.
We are a small, dedicated organisation with five homes. Regardless of which home a young person is placed in, our focus on consistency, quality and child centred care never wavers.
What makes us different to work with?
· Genuine teamwork: As a small team, we support each other, share the load and provide mutual support. Mistakes are opportunities for growth – not blame. We understand the pressures of the Registered Manager role and strive to ease them, not add to them.
· No bureaucracy for bureaucracy’s sake: You won’t be asked to fill out the same form five times or report to faceless departments. If you need support, you can just pop into the office or pick up the phone – we operate a truly open-door policy and always have a cup of tea waiting.
· Freedom to do what works: We do not subscribe to pre-made systems for documenting and evidencing. Instead, we create our own documentation and processes that reflect the needs of each young person and the home they live in – not the other way around.
· Purpose over profit: We’re a family-run, not a big corporate chain. That means no faceless management, no chasing profits - just real people who care deeply about the children and the team around them. We exist solely to improve the lives of children and young people – and everything we do reflects this purpose.
· Personal connections: Our senior management team know every member of staff and every young person in our care. You’re never just a name on a list and our young people are never a number on a spreadsheet. Each member of the senior management team has extensive experience of managing children’s services with a deep understanding of the role.
· Trust, not micromanagement: We believe in hiring great people and trusting them to do great work. That means flexibility when you need it – including working from home when appropriate and the professional freedom to lead in a way that works best for the home.
