Your new role
Our client is looking for an RGN Home Manager on a temp contract, while they are looking for a long-term appointment (Note: If you are a strong candidate looking for a long-term perm appointment, please as advise as we may be able to put you forward).
In this role you will support the Registered Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home. You'll lead the nursing team, provide clinical guidance, and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care. This role blends clinical leadership with operational management, including compliance oversight, staff development, and quality assurance. You'll also deputise for the Registered Home Manager when needed and act as a key point of escalation for clinical and operational concerns.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

A valid NMC pin and Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
Proven post-registration experience in a nursing home or similar care setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capabilities.
A solid understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Desirable:

Experience in a deputy or home management role.
Familiarity with managing staff rotas, budgets, or audits.
Additional qualifications in management or leadership (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management).What you'll get in return
