Exciting Opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Rochdale, OL12
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Key Stage 2 team at a vibrant primary school in Rochdale (OL12), Manchester. This full-time position begins on Tuesday 2nd September 2025.
The school is a well-regarded, two-form entry primary setting, rated "Good" by Ofsted, and known for its supportive and inclusive environment. Staff wellbeing and student success are at the heart of everything they do, and they are looking for someone who shares this ethos.
Role Highlights:
Full-time, long-term position within Key Stage 2
Includes one afternoon per week delivering pre-planned lessons to cover teacher absence
Work within a collaborative team of experienced and early-career professionals
Support pupil attainment and track progress in line with the national curriculum
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, especially in maths and English
Confidence in delivering high-quality support with a proactive, hands-on approach
The ability to start immediately and make a positive impact from day one
