We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Roofer to join a busy maintenance team supporting domestic properties across the region.

Job description:

* Carry out roofing repairs, replacements, and general maintenance on domestic housing stock.

* Identify and report defects, leaks, and structural roofing issues.

* Work with a range of materials including slate, tile, felt, and flat roofing systems.

* Safely use hand tools, power tools, and access equipment such as ladders and scaffolding.

* Complete emergency and planned maintenance tasks as required.

* Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

* Liaise professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues while on site.

* Maintain accurate records of work completed using job sheets or digital systems.

* Follow health and safety procedures, including PPE use, risk assessments, and safe working practices.

Personal Specification:

* Previous experience in roofing, ideally within domestic or social housing environments.

* Strong knowledge of roofing systems, repairs, and maintenance techniques.

* Comfortable working at height and using access equipment.

* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Full UK driving licence is often required

* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
