Your key responsibilities:

*

Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders, discussing results directly with clients

*

Lead on statutory audits, including planning, fieldwork and file completion for manager review

*

Prepare corporation and personal tax returns, as well as VAT returns

*

Produce management accounts and work with clients to help them make sense of the numbers

*

Provide software support and training to clients, particularly with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Digita

About you:

*

4+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice

*

ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience (consideration also given to candidates nearing qualification)

*

Confident communicator, both in person and in writing

*

Strong IT and accounting software skills – experience with Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Digita is advantageous
