Position Overview:

To support this growth, our client is looking for a Senior Estimator (or an experienced Estimator ready to step up) to join their commercial team based at their HQ in Staffordshire. Reporting into the Estimating Lead, this role will focus on viability assessments across both the business. You'll play a key part in identifying the most commercially viable paths for upcoming developments, combining analytical rigour with strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver 2D and 3D land appraisals to support land bids and early-stage planning.

Build and maintain an evolving cost library to support accurate forecasting and benchmarking.

*

Assess land opportunities to determine the most profitable development strategies.

*

Review drawings, specifications, and costs with a critical eye to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

*

Work collaboratively with internal teams to solve commercial challenges creatively and strategically.

*

Support the wider team with cost planning, value engineering, and early-stage viability analysis.

About You:

Experienced in residential estimating, ideally with exposure to both private and partnership-led developments.

*

Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple active sites.

*

A confident communicator who enjoys collaborating across disciplines (land, technical, commercial).

*

Proactive, self-motivated, and excited to grow within a forward-thinking business.

*

Experience in 2D/3D appraisal tools and cost systems is advantageous.
