EYFS Teaching Assistant

Monday to Friday | 8:45am – 3:30pm
£13.75 per hour

Do you love the magic of early learning and helping young children thrive?
We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and hands-on EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Preston.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is a lovely opportunity to be part of the school’s Early Years team – supporting learners as they take their first steps in education. You’ll be:

Supporting children through play-based learning and structured activities
Helping to create a safe, fun and engaging environment where children feel happy and supported
Assisting with phonics, early literacy and number work
Encouraging social and emotional development through positive interactions
Working closely with the teacher and wider team to help every child flourish
What We’re Looking For:

Someone with experience working with or supporting children (this could be in a school, nursery, childcare or similar)
A calm, kind and patient approach
A team player who’s not afraid to get stuck in
EYFS experience is a big plus – but not essential if you’ve got the right attitude and passion!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
