Our public sector client based in Mountsorrel, Loughborough is currently seeking an experienced Refuse Collection Loader to join their team as soon as possible!

This will be a temporary opportunity, working on going until further notice. There is also the opportunity to gain a contract after 12 weeks depending on performance.

The hours of work will be 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.

· This role can be physically demanding and involves heavy lifting & walking 8-10 miles per shift in all weather conditions
· Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
· Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal
· Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed
· Complete relevant paperwork in real time
· Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage
· Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
· Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public

What you'll need to succeed:

· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated
· Willingness to undertake tasks
· Previous relevant experience in a refuse collecting role is essential
