REClifts is seeking 1 x Escalator Engineer (Service & Repairs) to join a highly reputable Lift & Escalator Engineering firm in the Nottingham area.

This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for an experienced Escalator Engineer with a strong background in routine service, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Commutable from: Nottingham, Derby, Newark-on-Trent, Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Chesterfield, Ilkeston, Hucknall

Ideal Escalator Engineer Candidate:

NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering - Essential
Full UK driving licence - Essential
2+ years' experience working as an Escalator Engineer
Confident working independently on servicing, breakdowns, and minor repairs
Comfortable working on a shared on-call rota
Good customer communication skills and proactive attitude to safety and service

Key Responsibilities of an Escalator Engineer:

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on various escalator packages
Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs and replacements
Keep accurate service records and escalate technical issues as needed
Provide excellent on-site customer service and support
Adhere to all health & safety guidelines and company standards
Participate in on-call rota for emergency breakdowns
