Overview

We are recruiting two up-and-coming Site Managers to join a major student accommodation development in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious, younger Site Managers looking to step up and gain experience on a large, technically challenging project while working closely under a Senior Site Manager (SSM).

The project is at an early and critical stage and will involve groundworks, civils, piling, and deep excavation, making it ideal for candidates who want to strengthen their technical and leadership skills on a flagship scheme.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Senior Site Manager in the day-to-day management of site activities

*

Oversee groundworks, civils, piling and deep excavation works

*

Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and plant to ensure works are delivered safely and on programme

*

Monitor quality and workmanship in line with drawings, specifications, and method statements

*

Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, and site procedures

*

Assist with short-term programming and daily/weekly planning

*

Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting

*

Work collaboratively with engineers, commercial teams, and subcontractors

Candidate Profile

*

Young / up-and-coming Site Manager ready to progress on a large project

*

Strong exposure to groundworks, civils, piling or deep excavation

*

Experience working on major contractors’ sites (background with firms such as Bouygues is highly regarded)

*

Confident, proactive, and keen to learn from a Senior Site Manager

*

Able to manage subcontractors and maintain high safety and quality standards

Qualifications

*

SMSTS

*

CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)

*

Relevant construction qualification (NVQ Level 4/6 or working towards)
