We are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join our team in September 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children as they make the important transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering an engaging and supportive learning experience that builds confidence, deepens understanding, and encourages independence in all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform planning and interventions
*
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where all children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leaders to promote pupil achievement and well-being
*
Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, trips, and enrichment activities
We are looking for:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3
*
A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
*
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils
*
A reflective and collaborative practitioner with a growth mindset
*
Please note: this role is not open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
