A reputable Social Housing client who is passionate about delivering homes and services to the communities of Cornwall is looking for Environmental Compliance Manager who is experienced in Environmental Legislation and Wastewater Regulations to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a team who really cares and wants to make a difference.  They are looking for an expert in environmental legislation to ensure they meet all relevant standards and to be the advocate for all environment in the local area. 

About the role

To ensure that the client meets all statutory and non-statutory compliance obligations to the environment and that all impacts and opportunities are appropriately assessed and managed. That all environmental elements of the services works and projects are managed, maintained and developed and environmental performance information is recorded, reported and actioned in a way that drives continual improvement and efficiencies. To ensure that staff at all levels within the company have the appropriate environmental awareness, training, understanding and guidance for the decisions they are making or task they are undertaking.

About you

To be successful, you'll be/have:

Experience and knowledge of all environmental legislation along with wastewater regulations

Proven project management experience in delivering major capital projects 

Positive attitude to change management and continual development to deliver a robust environmental sustainable culture within the organisation

Working Hours:  37 hours per week

Base:  Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed.
