Electrical Engineer – M13 – £40,000-£44,000

Location: South of Manchester
Salary: £40,000-£44,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team on a static commercial site based in the South of Manchester. This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights, and offers excellent benefits, training, and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on electrical systems

*

Attending to reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdowns

*

Working on lighting, power, emergency lighting, and associated electrical plant

*

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

*

Supporting wider building services and assisting with other site duties as required

*

Completing maintenance documentation and reports accurately

Requirements:

*

Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

*

Experience within a commercial building or facilities management environment

*

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a shift-based team
