Quality Advisor – Havant Thicket Reservoir.

The project has a duration of around 5 years’ and other work in the local area. The business has an esteemed history in water infrastructure and marine projects across the UK & Europe.

This project is a first of its kind in the last of 30 years’ constructing a new reservoir to protect some of the rarest chalk streams in the country and provide a futureproof source of water to the region. The project is being delivered by a Joint Venture and will comprise of extensive earthworks, ecological work, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, buildings and MEICA works.

Following completion of the project the business has a steady local workload on frameworks, reactive projects, private clients and local authorities on projects such a coastal protection, jettys, water treatment works, marine groundworks and more.

Quality Advisor duties:

* Oversee quality assurance with civils works, ensuring compliance with contract scope, specifications, and industry standards.

* Develop and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality control checklists, and ensure effective implementation on site.

* Coordinate with the NEC Supervisor for witnessing of inspections and ensure timely acceptance of works by the client.

* Manage approval processes for materials and products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

* Monitor and verify quality control activities, independently checking build quality and managing quality/test records and reporting.

* Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project teams to resolve non-conformances, improve site practices, and ensure buildable, high-quality designs.
