A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant / Janitor to join their team on a static site in Midlothian.

The Role

Working on a single, static site, you will support the day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring the building and grounds are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• General building maintenance and minor repairs
• Basic plumbing and fabric works
• Assisting with PPM tasks
• Monitoring site compliance checks
• Supporting contractors on site
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
• General janitorial duties including inspections and upkeep
• Reporting faults and updating maintenance records

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a Facilities Assistant / Janitor / Caretaker role
• Basic maintenance skills
• Strong understanding of health & safety
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently on a static site
