Catering Assistant
Pay: £12.21 per hour (increasing in April)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 7:30am – 2:30pm or 8:30am – 3:30pm

We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join a busy and friendly food service team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering good-quality food and customer service.

Duties will include for a Catering Assistant:

Assisting with the preparation and service of fresh food
Setting up and maintaining clean, attractive food and counter displays
Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operating the till and handling payments accurately
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting the wider catering team during busy periodsThe ideal Catering Assistant will:

Have a positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
Enjoy working as part of a team
Be confident dealing with customers
Be able to work well under pressure
Have good timekeeping and attention to detail
Previous catering experience is helpful but not essentialAdditional information:

If successful, you will be required to complete a DBS check
