Production Manager – Walsall
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00 | Fri 08:00–14:30
Contract: Permanent

We’re recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business in Walsall. This is a permanent role with a company that truly looks after its staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and develop production teams, including supervisors and operators.

*

Plan and oversee manufacturing processes to meet targets and maintain high-quality standards.

*

Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles.

*

Monitor workflow, coordinate materials, and manage stock levels.

*

Track KPIs, prepare reports, and support strategic decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience in a manufacturing production management role.

*

Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.

*

Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing techniques.

*

Familiarity with ERP systems (Winman preferred) and production planning tools.

*

Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
