Location: Castle Hill Centre, Castleton Street, Bolton, BL2 2JW
Rate: £30 per hour
Work Pattern: Hybrid
Qualification Required: Diploma / Degree in Social Work

Bolton Council is recruiting Qualified Social Workers for roles within Intermediate Care and the North Community Mental Health Team. These opportunities are ideal for motivated practitioners with a passion for supporting adults to maximise independence and improve quality of life.

1. QSW - Intermediate Care (IMC)

As a Social Worker within Intermediate Care, you will:

Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews

Support care and support planning

Link individuals into universal and voluntary services

Support colleagues with complex assessments, Mental Capacity, and Best Interest assessments

Work closely within an inter-disciplinary team

2. QSW - North Community Mental Health Team

This role involves working with adults with mental health needs, undertaking:

Assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014

Support planning to promote independence and wellbeing

Complex case work including Mental Capacity and Best Interest assessments

Collaborative working across services and teams

Candidate Requirements (Both Roles):

Qualified Social Worker (Diploma / Degree in Social Work)

Passion for working with adults and promoting independence

Strong relationship-building skills with service users and carers

Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
