The Role:

* Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the exciting potential to teach Key Stage 5 for candidates with advanced expertise and a passion for guiding students through A-Level Physics.

* Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and meticulously structured lessons that demystify complex physical laws, making them accessible and inspiring for students of all abilities and learning styles.

* Contribute actively to the enrichment of science education through organizing and participating in extracurricular activities such as physics clubs, engineering challenges, astronomy nights, and educational visits to scientific institutions.

* Support student progress through rigorous and effective assessment and constructive feedback, carefully monitoring individual development, identifying specific areas for improvement, and celebrating academic achievements.

* Collaborate enthusiastically with colleagues in curriculum planning and departmental development, actively participating in meetings, contributing innovative ideas, and helping to shape the future of Physics education within the school.

The Ideal Candidate:

* A qualified Physics Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a robust academic background and specialisation in Physics.

* Possesses strong subject knowledge and an undeniable passion for physics education, capable of igniting a love for the subject and inspiring students to think critically about the physical world.

* Committed to inclusive and student-centred teaching practices, ensuring that every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to excel in their scientific journey.
