The firm is seeking a Junior Associate who is enthusiastic about financial services law and regulatory matters. As a Junior Associate in the financial regulation team, you will be instrumental in advising on compliance with UK and EU legislation, supporting licensing applications, analysing perimeter issues, and conducting regulatory due diligence on corporate transactions. You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of advisory and enforcement work, working directly with senior solicitors and partners on high-value, complex matters.
The Junior Associate's role
The Junior Associate will support clients on a range of regulatory issues including FSMA, SMCR, MiFID II, and the wider FCA and PRA frameworks. You will assist in drafting client alerts, preparing regulatory applications, supporting internal investigations, and maintaining relationships with financial regulators. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced work, problem-solving, and contributing to strategic risk management advice.
You will also have the opportunity to develop client-facing skills, contribute to business development, and take part in training sessions focused on the latest regulatory changes affecting financial services firms.
