We are seeking a compassionate and skilled English Tutor to support a dedicated Year 13 student in Andover who is preparing to retake their English Language GCSE (AQA).

Location: Andover (in-person tuition)
Hours: 2 hours per week (after school hours)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Student:

Year 13 learner with a strong commitment to academic progress
Preparing for an English Language GCSE retake
The ypoung person has EAL
Currently being assessed for Dyslexia and ASD

Support Areas:

English literacy and comprehension
Sentence structure and logical organisation of ideas
Analytical writing

As a Tutor, you will:

- Track progress and adjust strategies to ensure the student builds confidence and achieves their goals

-Deliver 1:1 English tuition for 2 hours per week, after school hours, in Andover

-Support a Year 13 student in preparing for their AQA English Language GCSE retake

About you:

Experience working with learners with SEN
Familiarity with the AQA English Language GCSE curriculum
Patient, empathetic, and able to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs
Comfortable supporting EAL studentsPosition - Tutor

Hours - 2 per week
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young peopleTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
