Children’s Home Dual Registered Manager – 3 & 4 Bed Homes
Location: Weston-super-Mare & Langford (Bristol area)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Salary: £54,825.86 per annum
Bonus Potential: Up to £69,325.86 with performance and occupancy bonuses

Search & Selection UK is working on behalf of a respected and long-established provider in the children’s residential care sector. We are currently recruiting for a Dual Registered Manager to lead two high-quality homes: an established 3-bed and a brand-new 4-bed service based in Weston-super-Mare and Langford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced leader to oversee multiple services, shape teams, and ensure the highest standard of care and outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational leadership and day-to-day management of both homes
*
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and company policies
*
Lead, motivate and develop a strong and effective staff team
*
Ensure that care plans, reports, and risk assessments are accurate and up to date
*
Build positive relationships with young people, families, staff, and external agencies
*
Promote a culture that values the voice, views, and experiences of children and young people
*
Represent the homes professionally in the community and with stakeholders
Essential Requirements:

QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
*
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent)
*
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role
*
In-depth understanding of children’s home regulations and safeguarding procedures
*
Full manual UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
*
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota (average of two duties per month)
Salary & Benefits:

Base salary of £54,825.86 per annum
*
Bonus potential of up to £14,500 per year:
*
Occupancy bonus: up to £875 per month across both homes
*
Ofsted bonuses: up to £2,000 based on inspection outcomes
*
£2,000 annual car allowance
*
22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
*
Enhanced sick pay (5 days at full pay)
*
Non-contributory pension (9% employer contribution)

On-call payments (£10 per weekday, £50 per weekend day)
