What you'll be doing:
* You'll be designing and delivering engaging D&T Resistant Materials lessons, covering areas like timber, metal, and plastics, from concept to finished product.
* It's about fostering design thinking, encouraging precise craftsmanship, and developing students' understanding of materials and processes.
* You'll maintain a safe and inspiring workshop environment and contribute to innovative design projects.
What we're looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in D&T Resistant Materials.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective D&T Resistant Materials lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* Strong practical skills and a deep understanding of design principles and workshop safety.
* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom and workshop management, and a genuine passion for hands-on design and engineering.
