Apex Resources Ltd are looking for an experienced Building Regulations Principal Designer to join a growing consultancy working across the Retail, Leisure, Commercial and Residential sectors.

The role supports the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations (Amendment) Regulations 2023, providing Principal Designer (Building Regulations) and Client Advisor services throughout England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as Principal Designer (Building Regulations) and Client Advisor

* Manage and coordinate designers and design sub-contractors

* Chair online and in-person compliance workshops

* Advise clients on Building Safety Act and Building Regulations compliance

* Support and deliver internal training on building regulations

About You

* RIBA, MRICS or similar design qualification

* Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and Approved Documents

* Experience in design management and RIBA Plan of Work stages

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Confident IT user (Microsoft Office and online workshops)
