TeamJobs is working with an excellent local company based in Waterlooville looking for additional Powder coating operative to join their team.

Shift times, pay & working hours for this role:

Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:15
Friday 07:30-12:15
£13.00 per hourA typical day in the role includes:

Spray Painting: You'll use a special spray gun to apply powder paint evenly onto different items in a spray booth. You'll need to make sure the paint is the right thickness for each product.
Baking: After spraying, you'll put the painted products into large ovens to bake and harden the powder coating.
Getting Products Ready: This includes hanging up products before painting and cleaning them by hand so the paint sticks properly.
Cleaning and Looking After Equipment: You'll regularly clean the spray guns and booths and perform basic upkeep on the machines and tools you use.
Packing: Once products are finished and cooled, you'll pack them to get them ready for shipping.
Keeping Things Tidy and Safe: You'll help keep your work area clean and always follow safety rules to make sure everyone stays safe and production goals are met.
Checking Quality: You'll also check the finished products to make sure they look good.This role requires:

Good attention to details
Previous experience would be desirable
Strong communication skills
IT skills
