Are you a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor looking to make a real difference in a child’s life?

A well-regarded, inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a full-time Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 with a pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Starting immediately and continuing through to July 2026, this role is perfect for someone experienced in behaviour support and passionate about helping young people thrive.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will build a trusting relationship with the child, support emotional regulation, and help create a calm and structured learning environment. The school offers strong SLT support, a warm staff team, and a child-centred approach to behaviour intervention.

The successful Behaviour Mentor will be confident, patient, and skilled in de-escalation strategies. Experience with SEMH or similar needs is highly desirable.
