12 Week Temporary - Permanent Opportunity

Either permanent days or permanent nights positions available

Austin Banks are working with an engineering business with strong links throughout their industry, providing a range of comprehensive engineering solutions.

Due to extensive growth, they are looking for mig welders with medium to heavy bespoke fabrication experience to hit the ground running.

Duties:

* MIG welding large structural pieces

* To interpret engineering drawings for parts to be welded

* Carry out dimensional check

* Fillet welds 6mm to 30mm

* BUT welds 6mm – 100mm

* Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output

Experience:

Ideally the candidate will be apprentice trained or time served equivalent

Must be experienced in MIG welding

Experienced with 6mm up to 60mm fillet welds

Salary & Hours:

£17.20 on days, £21.50 on nights

Days 6am - 4pm (Mon-Thu) days or 4pm – 6am (Mon-Thu) nights
