Part-Time HR Administrator
Our manufacturing client based in Southampton is looking for a highly motivated and organised part-time HR Administrator.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the site based Human Resources team. This includes accurate data documentation and coordination of activities to ensure smooth management of multiple activities including recruitment, new hire on-boarding, compensation and benefits, leavers. Co-ordination and administration of training activities. Providing first line support to managers, team members and external partners for general enquiries regarding people processes and systems.
Main Duties
• Provide administration support and where appropriate coordinate activities associated to all core people processes and events.
• Support HR team members as required to complete their operational activities.
• Create professional relationships across the business, keeping key stakeholders updated on task progress where relevant.
• Maintain accurate HR data including organisation charts, HR database, training records and the provision of monthly payroll data.
• Implement and execute HR processes, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements, Company procedures and relevant employment legislation.
• Develop relationships with HR colleagues across other sites, sharing good practices and supporting each other when required.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and practices when performing tasks, operating equipment and moving around the site, seeking guidance where needed.
• Perform any other duties necessary, as instructed by the HR Business Partner or member of the site management team to carry out the job function and achieve department and Company objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Excellent organisation skills. Able to manage multiple activities, prioritise workload and maintain accurate records.
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow standard procedures and process flows and accurately process documentation.
• Good communicator, both verbal and in writing.
• Demonstrate a track record of performing multiple administrative tasks which require timely and accurate completion.
• Demonstrate a track record of communicating (verbally and in writing) with different types of people.
• Experience of working with confidential data and topics advantageous.
• Numerate – able to work with compensation data and complete data analysis to inform people decisions.
• Proficient in working with MS Office package – emails, diaries, Word and Excel.
• Experience of using databases advantageous.
• Fluent Business English essential, other languages advantageous.
• Good interpersonal skills across different levels. Demonstrate ability to build relationships with others and positively influence dialogue with internal colleagues and external contacts.
• Team player, able to collaborate across teams to resolve issues and work together to deliver solutions.
• Willing and able to develop technical knowledge of Human Resources.
• Able to work effectively and remain calm in pressured situations.
• Positive attitude with “can-do” approach.
Salary:
£26,250 full time equivalent
Hours:
15 per week flexible hours and days to suit
