Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Systems Engineer (Design) to join their team on a permanent basis. This role requires a specialist in Model Based Systems Engineering, Systems Design, and Systems Engineering, deeply involved in one of the most advanced weapon system development programmes in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysing requirements and functional interface definitions to generate detailed functional design documentation
Conducting system design trade studies and proposing design changes with detailed impact assessments
Liaising with multi-disciplinary design teams and external stakeholders to ensure an accurate and coherent understanding of the system design
Understanding and managing change processes and points of embodiment management
Supporting the development and maintenance of management plans
Developing excellent working relationships with partners, key stakeholders, team members, and other departments
Demonstrating passion and persistence to accomplish tasks with excellence

Job Requirements:

Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, Systems Design, and Systems Engineering
Ability to analyse complex requirements and generate cohesive design documentation
Proficiency in conducting and assessing system design trade studies
Strong communication skills for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with change management processes and documentation
Proven ability to foster strong working relationships across various levels of an organization
A dynamic and flexible approach, with a motive to contribute to the success of pioneering defence projects
British citizenship or dual UK nationality with British citizenship
