Are you an experienced warehouse professional ready to join a fast-paced and well-organised logistics team?

Our client, a well-established and growing company based in Rochester, is looking for skilled Warehouse Operatives to help support their busy operation and maintain an efficient warehouse workflow.

Key responsibilities:

* Accurately pick customer orders and prepare for dispatch

* Unload incoming goods and safely rack items into storage

* Load and unload lorries in line with delivery schedules

* Pick materials and ingredients for production activities

* Return completed pallets from production back to storage

* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment

* Assist other departments and team members as required

* Complete general warehouse duties and ad-hoc tasks

What we’re looking for:

* Valid Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift licences – If you only hold one of these licences, then the client is willing to train you on the other.

* Strong recent experience using FLTs in a warehouse setting

* Familiarity with IT-based stock control systems

* Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and procedures

* Ability to work efficiently in a busy, time-sensitive environment

* Attention to detail and understanding of accurate stock control
