The Opportunity
Due to continued project wins and sustained growth within the water sector, the company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a leading consultancy, working on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with senior commercial and project leaders, with clear progression opportunities towards Senior Quantity Surveyor and beyond.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in:
Supporting the delivery of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services on water sector projects
Assisting with the commercial management of clean water, wastewater, and water infrastructure schemes
Preparing and contributing to cost plans, procurement strategies, and risk assessments
Supporting contract administration, change control, and commercial reporting
Attending client meetings and assisting in maintaining long-term client relationships with water authorities and contractors
Working collaboratively with senior team members and supporting junior staff where appropriate
Working as part of a growing and high-performing project team
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Consultancy/PQS-side experience (preferred)
Experience or strong interest in water or wastewater infrastructure projects
Good commercial awareness and client-facing communication skills
MRICS status or working towards chartership (full support provided)
The ability to manage workloads effectively and work with guidance from senior team members
Ambition to progress within a growing, collaborative consultancy
