MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Offshore Decommissioning Manager to strengthen their team. If you are an experienced Offshore Engineer/Manager with proven decommissioning experience, apply now for an immediate response!

The job you’ll do:

* Lead offshore decommissioning projects from cradle to grave

* Drive delivery excellence between clients, subcontractors, site teams, and senior management

* Taking ownership of business development, tendering, delivery, and completion.

* Build and deepen existing client relationships across all areas of the business

* Take ownership of tendering activity - pricing and coordinating submissions

* Support the commercial teams with valuations and identify any variations early

* Maintain programmes and present reports at client progress meetings

* Contribute to weekly ops meetings, chair meetings with Site Management

* Ensure contractual and legislative compliance

* Embed safe systems of work (RAMS, POWRAs, daily briefings etc.)

* Collaborate with HSE, Environmental, Technical, Commercial and Bid teams

About you:

* 3+ years’ experience in offshore decommissioning projects at management level

* Relevant Engineering qualifications (Degree, HNC, HND, NVQ) or equivalent experience

* The ability to build credibility with clients and partners

* Experience tendering and coordinating submissions

* Strong project management skills from early stages through to completion

* Familiarity with RAMS and site safety leadership
