Assistant Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer - Cardiff
£30,000 - £45,000 + benefits (depending on experience)
Flexible hybrid working | Growth-focused consultancy | Great team culture
I'm working with a well-established and growing civil and structural engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across South Wales and the South West. Known for delivering quality over quantity, this business is trusted by repeat clients across residential, education, commercial, and industrial sectors.
They're now looking to expand their Cardiff office with the addition of an Assistant Civil Engineer or Civil Engineer - someone who is keen to develop their technical skills and grow with the business.
What makes this opportunity stand out?
Genuine progression - The company is growing steadily and is keen to promote from within. You'll be supported toward chartership if you're working toward it.
Project variety - You'll get hands-on experience on a mix of drainage and highways design projects, working from concept to delivery.
Supportive environment - Small but highly experienced team with a strong mentoring culture. You won't get lost in a crowd here.
Flexible working - Hybrid working is available, with a balanced approach to time in the office.
What they're looking for:
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Knowledge of UK drainage and/or highways design standards (e.g., S278, S38, SuDS)
Familiarity with AutoCAD and either Site3D, Civil 3D or MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team
Whether you're just getting started in your career or looking to take the next step, this is a great opportunity to join a consultancy where you can make a real impact and be part of a friendly, supportive environment.
