Counterbalance/Bendi Forklift Driver with Stock Control Responsibilities

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Shifts: 4 on 4 off – Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Location: Beeston, NG9

Contract Type: Full-time, Ongoing

CSP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance/Bendi Forklift Operator to take on a dual-role position involving stock control responsibilities within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who combine hands-on forklift operation skills with an organised and detail-focused approach to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts safely and efficiently.

* Conduct daily stock counts, periodic stocktakes, and cycle counts.

* Accurately maintain inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and WIP.

* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies using warehouse management systems (WMS – Vision/M3/Excel).

* Ensure compliance with FIFO and FEFO stock rotation methods.

* Generate and communicate stock variance reports to internal stakeholders.

* Collaborate effectively with warehouse, production, and planning teams.

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across the work area.

Candidate Requirements:

* Valid and in-date Counterbalance and Bendi forklift licenses.

* Proven experience in a stock control or inventory-focused warehouse role.

* Proficiency in using WMS platforms and Microsoft Excel.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.

* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, reliable work ethic.

* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively while working independently or as part of a team.

* Comfortable with night shifts and manual handling where required.
