Registered Manager – Residential Learning Disabilities Service

Location: Manchester (M30 area – dual-site service)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, flexible)
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting an experienced, values-led Registered Manager to lead a dual-site residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for quality, compliance, and outcomes.

About the Role
You will hold CQC registration and provide strong, visible leadership across the service, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred support. You’ll lead and develop teams, embed best practice, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory and operational excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Hold and maintain CQC registration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

*

Lead, motivate, and develop staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

*

Embed Positive Behaviour Support and least-restrictive practice

*

Oversee assessments, care planning, risk management, and outcomes

*

Manage safeguarding concerns in line with legislation and local procedures

*

Ensure robust governance, audits, and quality assurance processes

*

Recruit, supervise, appraise, and develop staff, including succession planning

*

Manage rotas, staffing levels, and resources to ensure safe service delivery

*

Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, and professionals

*

Manage budgets and support financial sustainability

About You
You will be an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, with a background in learning disabilities and challenging behaviour services. You will have excellent knowledge of CQC standards and strong leadership capability.
