The Company:

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected company based in the Chilton area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long-term position.
The role will be full-time looking to go permanent after a successful probation period.

The Role:

* Attend pre shift team meetings, discuss workload and targets for the day ahead

* Report any issues which may occur during shift back to team leaders

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Overseeing and operating press machinery

* Use of measuring equipment; verniers, protractor, set square

* Monitoring machinery to ensure smooth operation throughout the production process

* Maintaining quality control and adherence to safety standards

* Quality checking products for defects

* Manual handling and heavy lifting duties, follow companies’ strict health and safety procedures

The Person:

* Excellent attitude and attendance required in order to gain a permanent contract

* A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job

* Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary

* Someone with a can-do attitude

The Hours:
Training Period:

* 08:00am to 17:00pm initially on £12.21until fully trained

Moving onto after training:

* 06:00am to 14:30pm / 14:30pm to 23:00pm

Potentially will go onto 3-shifts in the future on a 23:00pm – 6:00am shift for nights. (25% shift premium)

The Pay:

* £12.21 on Day Shift for the training period

* £14.65 for 2 shifts
