Are you an experienced English Teacher looking for a long-term, part-time role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a specialist English Teacher to join a supportive school in Kendal for one day per week, every Wednesday afternoon.

We provide an educational offer to students of all ages, including full-time courses, part-time courses, higher education and apprenticeships. The local area's economic well-being is supported by providing courses for adults to help them get back into the job market and improve their employment chances. In addition, the college staff helps develop and support entrepreneurial activity amongst full-time students.

What we’re looking for:

A specialist in English, ideally with experience teaching at secondary level.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
