Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef

As the Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our classic small kitchen team, where collaboration and versatility are key. You will work up to 48 hours per week over five days, benefitting from two consecutive days and nights off. Your schedule will primarily consist of afternoon prep and evening service, wrapping up around 10 PM. Part of your responsibilities will include covering for the Head Chef during his days off. This involves menu planning, preparation, and running the pass for service. Additionally, you will handle two breakfast shifts per week, ensuring all aspects of menu writing, ordering, organization, prep, and service are executed flawlessly.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie eager to step into their first Sous Chef position within a 2 AA rosette kitchen. Rosette standard experience is crucial for this role. Your passion for food, eagerness to learn, and your calm demeanor are essential to excel in our small, friendly, and respectful team.
