System Test Engineer - Linlithgow- Scotland

We’re supporting an innovative technology business developing advanced test and measurement products for global telecoms networks. They’re now looking for a System Test Engineer - Linlithgow- Scotland to join their R&D team.

You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, developing and executing system-level tests to qualify hardware and software products for release. This is a hands-on role offering exposure across a range of technologies and products.

What you’ll be doing as the System Test Engineer - Linlithgow- Scotland

* Creating test plans from hardware and software requirements

* Developing and running manual and automated tests

* Executing full system test cycles ahead of release

* Logging defects and working closely with engineers to resolve issues

* Contributing to test tools, environments and best practice

What we’re looking for within the System Test Engineer - Linlithgow- Scotland

* Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science (or equivalent)

* Experience testing complex hardware and software systems

* Python scripting and automated test experience

* Knowledge of test frameworks and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)

* Detail-focused, curious and comfortable working in a collaborative team
