The Opportunity Are you an experienced Paint Technician, Panel Technician, SMART Repairer or Bodyshop Technician looking for your next challenge? Join a leading accident and collision repair specialist as a Mobile Vehicle Repair Technician. You’ll drive a fully equipped mobile workshop van across Newport and the surrounding area, completing high-quality repairs at customers’ homes, workplaces or approved locations—no cold calling required. All work is dispatched in advance by a dedicated central team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Travelling to customers’ vehicles in a fully kitted mobile workshop van
Performing paint, panel and SMART repairs to high industry standards
Completing end-to-end repairs on-site, from dent removal and paint refinishing to panel replacement
Ensuring each job meets quality, safety and compliance requirements
Keeping accurate records of all work undertaken and materials used
Maintaining your mobile workshop van, including stocking consumables and fluids
What You’ll Need
Proven experience in paint spraying, panel beating, SMART repairs or general bodyshop work
City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Body Repair, Paint Spraying or equivalent qualification
Full UK/EU driving licence (essential)
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding finish quality
Ability to work independently, managing your schedule and customer expectations
Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
