This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to the transport, infrastructure, and environmental landscapes. Responsibilities for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:

Produce designs for drainage and highways with respect to the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S38, and S278)
Prepare technical assessments for new developments
Check and amend technical drawings and reports for submission
Support colleagues and clients in understanding technical concepts
Prepare and supervise presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Manage projects, ensuring work is undertaken within budget and timeframes, to the highest of standards
Liaise closely with clients and Project Managers regarding project delivery
Ensure industry standards and regulations are complied with at all times

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:

A Bachelor's Degree (or higher qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar, relevant field
Extensive experience of working in an infrastructure design role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
Demonstrable experience of preparing designs in relation to the relevant Section Agreements (i.e., S38, S278, S104)
Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including MicroDrainage, and/or Causeway Flow
Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments and designing drainage strategies
Competent in your knowledge of relevant design standards, including Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, national planning policy, etc.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils 3D
Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (to include Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
A full, valid UK driving licence

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:

Outstanding literacy and numeracy skills
Prior experience of managing stakeholders
