Our supportive and progressive school in Hackney is looking for a motivated Maths Teacher who is keen to develop their leadership skills. This role offers the exciting prospect of a TLR for the right candidate, allowing you to contribute to the strategic direction of the Maths department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).

* Encourage students to become confident and independent learners in Maths.

* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.

* Contribute to the planning and assessment of the Maths curriculum.

* TLR opportunities are available for candidates with the skills and ambition to lead in areas such as curriculum innovation or assessment.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.

* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (ECTs encouraged to apply).

* A strong commitment to raising standards in Maths.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Demonstrated interest and potential in taking on leadership responsibilities (for TLR consideration)
