Front-of-house Receptionist role in a quality Hotel in Carlisle

We're recruiting a Receptionist for a welcoming Hotel in Carlisle, offering a varied front-of-house role in a professional hospitality environment. This Receptionist position is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction, takes pride in delivering great service, and wants to be part of a close-knit team. This is a full-time position, however, there are part-time opportunities available as well.

As a Receptionist, you'll support the smooth running of the front desk by:

Opening and closing daily shifts
Checking guests in and out efficiently
Ensuring all billing is accurate and up to date
Dealing with guest requests in a professional manner
Allocating rooms and managing availability
Handling incoming phone calls
Completing thorough handovers to the next shift
Supporting with any other reasonable requests from your Line ManagerWhat we're looking for:

To be successful as a Receptionist, you'll ideally have:

Previous front desk or customer-facing experience
Strong communication and organisational skills
A calm, professional approach when dealing with guests
Confidence using booking or billing systems
