Job Title: Production Operative

Role: Permanent

Pay: £24,024 per annum + Overtime = Earnings of £26,000 and upwards achievable

Shift: Monday-Thursday (7.00am - 3.30pm) and Friday (7.00am - 12.30pm)

Contracted Hours per week = 37.5

Benefits: 33 days holiday (inc. bank holidays), Salary increases based on company grading system, Pension scheme (5% employer contribution), Death-in-service payment (4x salary)

Overview:

Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional Production Operatives.

This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in supporting manufacturing doing various duties such as de-burring and finishing by hand the components, moving components around the site to various departments, visually inspecting components, aiding machine setters with tool change overs, packing of components etc.

The ideal candidate / Production Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
Any mechanical skills using handheld tools beneficial
Competent with computers to a basic level
Any measuring skills - using verniers/callipers etc.
