Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £83.40 - £95.00 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based based just outside the centre of Derby. The school well-known in the community, boasting fantastic facilities that have been recently refurbished and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students’ engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant to work with Intervention on a long-term, full-time basis for 5 days per week starting ASAP. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 helping students achieve excellent results and to enable all students to have access to learning.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred experience withing Secondary School setting)
Experience with Intervention (preferred, but not essential)
Proactive attitude in the classroom
