Job Title: Nursery Assistant
Location: Sale, Manchester (M33)
Hours: Flexible shifts between 8:00am - 6:00pm
Pay: £13.68-16.11 p/hour

Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role in early years education? We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Assistants to join our team supporting nurseries in the Sale area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of early years settings while working hours that suit your lifestyle.

The Role:

As a Nursery Assistant with Empowering Learning, you'll step into nursery settings on a temporary or short-notice basis, providing high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5. You'll work alongside permanent staff to maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

Key Duties:

Supporting children's play, learning, and development in line with the EYFS

Helping to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere

Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, and outdoor play

Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times

Adapting quickly to different settings and team dynamics

What You'll Need:

Recent experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting

A positive, proactive, and caring approach

Flexibility to work in different nurseries on a cover basis

A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
