This is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop strong literacy skills, a love for literature, and confidence in communication - essential foundations for their future success.

Key responsibilities:

Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available in some schools)

Creating engaging lessons that challenge, support, and inspire learners of all abilities

Helping students develop analytical thinking, written expression, and independent reading habits

Preparing students for GCSE exams through targeted teaching and regular assessment

Contributing to the wider English department through collaborative planning and enrichment activities

What we're looking for:

Qualified English teachers (QTS or equivalent) with UK secondary school experience

A genuine passion for English and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students

Open to both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin their career in a supportive environment
