To be considered for the Stores Manager position you will be based on site in Tiverton and this role is part time – you will be working 26 hours across 3 to 5 days.
What will you be doing?
As a Stores Manager for BES Infrastructure, you will be responsible for all plant, equipment and storage areas within a defined location and, issue/receipt processes.
The Stores Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, legislation and company policy and procedure for all equipment nationally by providing proper storage and movement of items between sites.
You will also:
Carry out periodic statutory inspections of lifting and work equipment (inc. LOLER, PUWER)
Carry out regular checks and maintenance of all specialist access equipment, where competent to do so
Manage the timely supply/issue of equipment to operational teams including the preparation of vehicles where required
Cleaning and servicing all equipment and maintaining it in a state of readiness for operational use
Liaise and work with Stores Managers in other offices, providing cover as and when necessary
Maintain relationships with equipment providers, hire companies and service providers

To join our team, you will need:
Experience working with safety critical or access equipment either operationally in the field or in a Stores Management capacity
Ideally, experience of managing an asset register
Experience with basic vehicle maintenance
Experience of managing plant and equipment including MEWPs, Boats and Scaffolding desirable
UK Driving license
