The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Safety Case Engineer to help deliver some of the UK's most vital engineering and nuclear programmes. This is your opportunity to make a real difference while working on high-integrity projects in a collaborative and technically demanding environment.

The role
As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality safety case documentation and supporting junior consultants in technical matters. You’ll lead the development of hazard management strategies, provide oversight across supply chain delivery, and help ensure compliance, efficiency, and safety across multi-disciplinary teams.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
* Developing hazard management strategies and participating in HAZID/HAZOP studies
* Authoring radiological safety assessments, including Safety Reports (e.g., PSRs, PCSRs)
* Producing and checking calculations, design basis documents, and technical reports
* Supporting and guiding junior safety case engineers
* Managing delivery through the supply chain and monitoring project risks, cost, and schedule
* Sharing best practice and maintaining oversight of key technical and safety case strategies.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
* Chartered Engineer status or actively working toward it
* Strong experience in safety case production across a range of complexities
* Ability to support, mentor, and advise less experienced safety case consultants
* Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
